Cancer Support Salisbury was formed in September 2019
following the closure of Wessex Cancer Trust's Salisbury Centre.

As a team of volunteers who used to work at the trust, we witnessed first hand the positive impact
this type of service had on so many people affected by cancer. So we set about creating our own.

We are a self funded, local charity, founded, and led by a committed team of volunteers offering emotional and practical support to anyone affected by cancer.

Our services include an informal weekly social drop-in each
Wednesday from 9.30am until 11.30am, and Thursday from 2pm until 5pm.

We can provide you with plenty of refreshments, a listening ear from our trained Befrienders,
Counselling, and a range of Complementary Therapies which include Aromatherapy,
Massage and Reflexology .

The kettle is always on, and we look forward to welcoming you!

FUNDRAISING

We would be delighted and

very grateful, if you would love

to organise, or take part in,

a fundraising event and

help us to raise those

much needed funds.

The Cancer journey is hard and at times overwhelming.

It's normal to feel uncertain about the future and isolated.

Cancer Support Salisbury is an amazing group, with friends in it I've made for life.

I cannot thank them all enough.

"This is the most welcoming and warm group of people- every time I visit we laugh and nothing is too much trouble
Even though my mum had cancer years ago: this space offered me support to talk and feel like I wasn’t alone x"
