A VISIT FROM THE MAYOR!

Volunteers from local charity Cancer Support Salisbury spent the day on Bank Holiday Monday
involved in the Big Help Out held in the Market Square. This initiative provided local charities
and community groups the chance to promote volunteering opportunities in Salisbury,
as part of the Royal Coronation Celebrations.
Mayor of Salisbury Tim Corbin, and charismatic archaeologist & Deputy Lieutenant of Wiltshire
Phil Harding visited the stand to talk to Chairperson Rachel Salter, and Treasurer Robert Wells
about the charity and learn more about its services available to the local community.
