Complementary therapies are used alongside, or in addition to, conventional medical treatments. Whilst they do not claim to treat or cure cancer, many people are choosing to use
complementary therapies to help support with their physical and emotional health,
to relieve symptoms and side effects of medication.
Some of the ways in which our therapies may help you:
• Feel better and improve your quality of life
• Reduce stress, tension and anxious feelings
• Improve the quality of your sleep
• Feel more in control by making a positive lifestyle change.
Our therapist Rachel is highly trained, fully insured, and has

and improving energy levels.
If you have recently had surgery on your under

AROMATHERAPY

The Greek physician Hippocrates wrote:
” The way to health is to have an aromatic bath, and scented massage every day”.
This treatment uses essential plant oils, (essences
extracted from various parts of plants – petals, berries,
zest, leaves and roots) which are personally blended
for the specific needs, or symptoms of the person
being treated. Each oil has its own unique healing
and therapeutic potential, which when used with
gentle massage, offers a powerful treatment that’s
especially useful to enhance and support our health and wellbeing. Aromatherapy massage makes use of the senses of touch and smell. Our therapist will blend a mix of essential oils, together with a carrier oil, created specifically for you.
Whilst Aromatherapy is most commonly combined with massage, it can also be used effectively in diffusers, compresses, aromatic baths, foot baths, steam inhalations, creams and ointments.
Recommended for : Anxiety and stress, Muscular aches and pains, Digestive problems, Menstrual and menopausal problems, Asthma, Eczema, Sleep disorders, Skin problems, Fluid retention.
